picma information

Description

picma is a "compassempreter", an unholy blend of a macro assembler, a compiler, and an interpreter. It reads picma source files, and creates various output formats, suitable for writing into a PIC.

Requirements

This is compiled for RISC OS and Linux.

You need some hardware too, if you want your code to end up inside a PIC. A suitable programmer and other useful bits will appear here when it is ready.

Status

This is still very much in development, and while it does work, the syntax details are still preliminary. If you don't want to chase the changes that will most likely occur, I suggest you wait until the 1.00 release.

Files

The current release is version 0.98 built June 24th, 2004.

Here is the documentation for the picma compiler and language.
